Matthew Wolf: Presentations

Matthew Wolf (Switzerland) has wide-ranging experience and expertise in the world of public market investing, particularly dividend-paying stocks. Mr Wolf formerly worked for the Capital Group as a European energy and utility analyst, as well as an Asian telecommunications analyst and an Australia generalist.

For more than 10 years Mr Wolf has actively supported the Grameen Foundation, which helps women in the developing world escape poverty by using technology to improve their access to financial products

Matthew Wolf, Capital Group partner and investment analyst from 2008 to 2023, enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests in his free time. These include language learning (he’s currently studying French), playing tennis, and cross-country and downhill skiing, and he has just started learning how to play the piano. Mr Wolf also likes to cook, and he has travelled extensively, having visited more than 40 countries to date.

Mr Wolf graduated from Yale University in May 1999 with a BA, cum laude, double majoring in economics and international studies, and from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in May 2008 with an MBA. As part of his work towards the latter, he undertook internships with Buena Vista Fund Management (a Hong Kong-based hedge fund) and the private equity firm TA Associates.
